In reply to Red. The current market is bearish, so that's probably what you're seeing. Just before the bear, the market characteristics do change. This is not to say, this idea is not valid. Comparing to a buy and hold would be a good idea. Buy and hold often has huge drawdowns. If you run the Buy and Hold test let me know what you find.

As usual, always interesting. However, in all three examples, it appears that in the last third of the trades the equity curve indicates a change in market characteristics? Also, I always like to compare to buy&hold as an acid test. Your thoughts?
